Cartoon scene with a black and white pony pom-pom trimming a bomb with a digital timer in a colorful room with perfume bottles on shelves, and other animals in the background.

countdown

  • Devoid of Reason - Chaos

Before rolling for the last time, a player must announce “Countdown”. They must then roll a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Skunk in consecutive rolls, keeping one die per roll. If successful that player instantly WINS the game!

  • “In the midst of fancy fragrances, the skunk’s focus was unwavering on the ticking bomb. ‘Hold your breathe, or things could get pretty pungent!’”

When originally created, we called this the Infinity rule where the player had to roll from 1 up to 6 to win the game. In the first review of an early prototype of our game, a group of young play testers described it as their favorite rule.

extreme

  • Devoid of Reason - Chaos

All players on their turn may continue rolling until they have SKUNK’D, and still move all points from their den onto the board! No min. to get on the board, and you may want to play to 20,000.

  • “The skunk, nature’s aromatic daredevil, is so extreme that even its scent is a stinkin’ sensation.”

Mandy came up with this rule and (correctly) insisted that we drop any requirements for getting on the board for the first time, too. This rule is a staple when playing with grandsons Simon & Wes so we can all enjoy the thrill of watching them rack up scent-sational scores!

mega+

  • Slightly Silly - Value

Mega rules apply to 5‘s and skunk’s (in addition to 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, & 6’s). Additional 5‘s are worth 500 and additional skunk’s are worth 1,000. Mega doubling also applies.

  • “After a hefty serving of beans, even skunks ask for tips on powering up their smell game!”

Originally, we called this Mega Extreme. It was one of our earliest high-risk, high-reward rules.

Animated cartoon of a black and white dog with a pink tongue playing golf, swinging a golf club at a golf ball on a green grassy course with trees and mountains in the background.

mulligan

  • Slightly Silly - Spray

A player may proclaim Mulligan to get a good old fashioned do over! Each player may claim one Mulligan per game. The Mulligan can be called anytime!

pungent

  • Devoid of Reason - Value

six, two, & even

  • Slightly Silly - Spray

On any given roll a player may change any 6’s they have rolled to 2’s or change any 2’s they have rolled to 6’s. Each player may use this rule once per game.

slow boat

  • Slightly Silly - Value

When a player rolls six skunk‘s or 5’s, one at a time, they receive 5 times the value of the six dice. Ex. Four 5’s and Two skunk‘s = 400 pts. times 5 for a total of 2,000 pts.!

  • Slightly Silly - Value

When a player rolls Stripes (3 pairs) that are numerically consecutive, such as 3’s, 4’s, & 5’s, they get a whopping 3,000 points instead of the measly 1,000!
